West London Zone and Into University

Into University provides academic support for local young people that need extra help with school work and exam revision. We identified that WLZ young people weren’t accessing the after-school sessions Into University had to offer, although they could really benefit from them.

The Link Workers explained to a group of young people how Into University could support them to improve their academic attainment. They then took them to the after-school sessions to support their engagement with the programme over the first few weeks. The young people now access the Into University after school sessions independently.
