This half term, children on the WLZ programme took part in lots of fun activities.

On Monday, we visited the Natural History Museum’s ‘Life in the Dark’ exhibit. We really enjoyed learning about how different types of nocturnal animals hunt and escape predators in the dark.

On Tuesday, Arch 197 led a Street Dance workshop at Ark Conway Primary school. The children learnt 3 amazing routines and performed them to their families at the end of the day.

On Thursday, we were lucky enough to visit Queens Park Ranger’s football stadium. We went on a tour of the stadium, even visiting the owner’s suite! The children also had to create their own egg-carrier that would protect an egg when dropped from a great height – most children succeeded at this! The children showed fantastic team work and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
