Strategy and Impact Director

West London Zone is an early intervention charity. We help children and young people build the
relationships and skills they need to get on track Socially, Emotionally and Academically, believing that
by targeting these key areas of development we can empower children to fulfil their potential. We call
this “creating SEA change”.

Inspired by the Harlem Children’s Zone in New York to do ‘whatever it takes,’ we co- developed our
collective impact model with our community in West London and deliver early intervention, two-year
personalised support plans to children and young people who otherwise may slip through the cracks.
We recently approved a new 5-year strategy that includes working with more young children and young
people, building our evidence base and sharing our learning.

The Strategy and Impact Director will add programme design and impact capacity to our senior
management team, enhancing our ability to analyse data, to reflect, to share learnings, and to adapt our
programme in line with our Theory of Change. They will oversee the successful roll out of our new five-
year strategy, leading the implementation of specific workstreams relating to our impact model and
building our evidence base, also working closely with the Business Development Director on future
business planning and acting as the organisational lead on digital integration.

The successful candidate will be skilled at using data to assess impact and to drive a culture of
continuous learning that leads to better outcomes for the children and young people we serve.

Head of Partnerships

West London Zone is an early intervention charity.  We help children and young people build the relationships and skills they need to get on track Socially, Emotionally and Academically, believing that by targeting these key areas of development we can empower children to fulfil their potential.  We call this “creating SEA change”.

Inspired by the Harlem Children’s Zone in New York to do ‘whatever it takes,’ we co- developed our collective impact model with our community in West London and deliver early intervention, two-year personalised support plans to children and young people who otherwise may slip through the cracks. We recently approved a new 5-year strategy that includes working with more young children and young people, building our evidence base and sharing our learning.

Reporting to the Delivery Director, the Head of Partnerships will lead a team of 4 staff, including 2 newly created posts, to achieve performance and growth targets, delivery partner, school and child and parent satisfaction and create the SEA change needed for children and young people in West London.
