Over the half term, nursery and Reception children on the West London Zone cohort at Ark Swift Primary academy had the chance to watch the play 'The Big Enormous Present' at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. Visiting the theatre was a new experience for many and the children were excited to take their seats as the show began!

The play told the story of Polly and her friends who found a mysterious present in the school playground and had to decide whether to keep all the presents for themselves or share them with others. The children found the jokes hilarious and were able to retell the story afterwards, talking about the themes of sharing and turn-taking. The children particularly loved the music and dancing and have been singing the songs ever since!
